From the Mediterranean coast at Netanya (see red marker line on map) to the so-called West Bank is a mere 8-9 miles wide. By comparison Glasgow city is approx. 17 miles across.

In 1948 and again in 1967 the surrounding Arab states set out to OCCUPY Israel and obliterate Israel and its Jewish citizens. Due to the heroic Israeli IDF the tables were turned. Ironically, as a result of our survival WE in Israel are now being accused of being the occupiers.

I repeat - "How ironic!"

Is this international insistence the new paradigm? It is perverse that Israel should retreat to a vulnerable 1948 truce-line (not a border) in consequence of winning defensive wars in 1948 and 1967 in the struggle for survival as a country and to avert a second genocide. Yet, unfortunately that's how the world sees it.

Compare those wars with Ukraine's defensive existential struggle today where the aggressor's brutality shows no regard for human life.

Mahmoud Abbas has declared that no Jews will be allowed in any future Palestinian state. If the Arabs had won either of those two wars Israel would have become an Arab state. Draw your own conclusion!
